I know that this is a card site and I don't want to tread on anybodys toes here.
Has anyone ever given any thought to a Multi-Media section for this forum ,where guys like me who work with card some of the time could post our stuff ?
Some of us talked about mixed media, but I don't think this is a purists site. Most just post what they use. If you build it, they will come. Simply beautiful workmanship!! It will be a slice of reality when you finish it off and put some cars, bicycles, or whatever you choose.

I will post just the paper and card parts for now as a tutorial on making brick walls. If and when a decision is made on a multi media thread I will take it from there, if that is OK with you guys!

Most of the great models on this site, with a couple of exceptions, are mixed media, just look a Doris's Sovereign of the Seas, that says it all.

Here is a cracked paint technique that I use over wood siding.I don't see why it wouldn't work over card too.I applied the paint over raw wood but it should work as well over a spray lacquered card stock too.
