Naval Combat
This is a 3D diorama that dates to the late 20's to the 30's. The destroyer Ouragan (Hurricane) on the left was commissioned in the French Navy in 1927.
I copied the diorama from Pillpat's Flickr page and restored it in Photoshop. I do not know the actual source of the original model as Pillpat does not identify it on her page. I have the original file if anyone wants a copy of this little bit of modeling history. PM me.

Wow, that's really cool! It really tells a story, more than many diorama's which seem to be static displays of scenery, nothing wrong with that either. This once has some artistic license which allows it to convey a story. Nice find!

Thanks for the kind comments! That little model is just the tip of the iceberg. I downloaded over 50 diorama models and restored them. That doesn't even include the hundreds of others.
This thread: vintage "découpages" identifies the urls from which I "found" the models. If you see any you like, check with me; perhaps I've already downloaded and restored it. Since there is no copyright issue, I can't see a problem with sharing the files, especially since Flickr is designed for sharing.
