Apatosaurus.. ABC Dinosaur model

There was 4 models in this series, and this is the one I have yet to build. Love the colors, and the way the subjects are presented...

The parts...

The base is set on a piece of "FoamCor" with spray adhesive, and the back on a thick piece of card. No warping with the use of the 3M adhesive..

Here are the other 3 build ups..

Those are great. So how does a person in the states get hold of ABC models?

Thanks... Not sure as how you would go about getting these now. I quit because the cost of the postage kept going up every year, and it just wasn't worth it for myself to continue. I don't have any of the info about who I was getting these from, since a lot of my past records and files that I had saved are long gone.

Finished !!!!

Finished this up this morning.. All edge coloring and touch-ups done with pastel pencils or chalks.. Odd bits of assorted ground cover from my stash, and several coats of "Future" applied with an air brush to seal and blend everything together.

Body & head stuffed with unused toilet tissue for bulk, and to hold it's shape when applying the legs..

Legs...

Completed model..

Excellent work!! I think that the best of the bunch is the T-Rex.

I am looking for any place to buy the AB magazine where it was published, but seems almost impossible to find.

I even tried to contact the magazine itself, through the contact link on its site, but seems that they do not answer e-mails in English :(

Very nice! The presentations are great. The bits in the mouths add a lot to the realism.

Nice looking modelsand unusual to see in paper. I think it humorous to indicate stuffed with "unsed" toilet paper - man, I hope so!

Another great little model. Wish I had them all. Too bad ABC doesn't digitize their stuff and sell it over the internet. They'd make a fortune... at least off me, they would.

I guess they knew about the coming of SOPA/PIPA before hand!
