News on the Eastern Front, Russians take the field

I've begun work on a diorama featuring CT's Russian WWI concept tank the Mendeleyev.

There have been comments on this forum about this tank and I won't restate them here. However, one feature I found interesting about this tank is how it creates a stable firing platform. The tank settles itself down on its tracks so that the body is flat on the ground. One of the 5 elements of accurate predicted fire for gun fire is weapons data and a stable platform. This would have created it. Plus I like that the tank utilized a 120mm gun. That is some serious fire support for the infantry, especially during WWI when most guns in 1915 were still in the 75-90mm range.

The plan is to eventually showcase the different positions of the tank (firing and advancing).

Work is slow due to working on another model of Corey's.

Corey's model is 3 pages printed. There is one page of description and two of parts.

Looking forward to this one, too.

Excellent images, Jeff.

So you have the tank, the diorama, and the gunboat andproceeding in parallel. No airplanes?

Actually, I do have a Oddball plane printed and sitting behind the cutting board. Nuts, right?
