Sinking of the Titanic / GPM / 1:700

Today marks 100 years since the sinking of the Titanic, to coincide with this date I have completed this model.

I only took one week to build, the model is very simple

The instructions are very bad

There are numbers of parts not in the instructions, it has some design flaws and the pieces are very imprecise, GPM? is what it says on the cover

One of the mistakes and I corrected it, I no longer remember, there are more errors but it has been to build it quickly.

Today it is known that the ship did not sack both the stern of the water, but I made this picture, scary!

Well, the finished model has been well

and that's all.

Un saludo

Sometimes the real kit is not the same as it look like to be.
As a designer, I'm making many times small corrections, but i think that's the fun of making paper models.

It is a neat little model, for what it is.
As a memoriam, it certainly does the job well.

You have put good effort into it, and made it work out well, and it is thus a pleasure to see the resulting model.

Kind and Respectful Regards Chapuzas100 mi amigo, Uyraell.

GPM Sinking Titanic Model 1:700 Scale

Great work, chapuzas!

Muy bien! You made it in time! And very nicely, too, with rigging, shroud lines, Marconi antennae and all! Beautiful. It's a very nice model for it's small scale, albeit a little simple and saturated in the colors.

I actually had it printed out (just before my printer crashed a couple of weeks ago!) and had all the parts cut out. I started to form the hull three days before the 100th anniversary of the sinking (April 14-15th) but then I got other things in the house to take care of, and I realized that I could'nt make it in time. However, your fine close-up photos has inspired me to continue and finish it!

Thanks for sharing!

All the best from Stockholm,
Bengt
