Diorama Tatebanko The great wave off Kanagawa

Just finished building this beautiful diorama. It is very easy to make, but I'm a starter in this 'business' so I can improve my techniques etc. It took me a couple of hours. Besides this I'm still working on my more difficult project: the VW Samba bus. I hop to show some pictures when that one is finished.

Katy, that came out great! Makes me want to build it (after my other 200 years worth of backlogged projects)>

Wonderful!

I want to build this one, as well. Thanks for letting us see your tatebanko model of this famous woodblock print.

The Great Wave off Kanagawa is the most famous ukiyo-e among thirty six views of Mount Fuji drawn by Katsushika Hokusai.
In my opinion, Tatebanko highlights its perspective more than original picture.
And nice build
