Hello David, thank you very much!
Vermin_King thanks, i use super glue only to harden the parts of the smaller models for the rest use the Pattex Hobby. Finally tested all the small parts in the kit I can start building the portion of the harbor. Start with the dock. Marco

Thanks Joe!
Once the dock I noticed a serious design flaw. The very thin frame has caused a ripple unbearable along the entire stretch of the train tracks. Not being able to fix the problem I decided to redo it by replacing the frame of the initial project with the card. This will procure me a lot of trouble adjusting the thicknesses but I think it is the best way to have a perfect platform without undulation. Marco

I'd probably just call it an old dock. Some settling may have occurred. I'm sure you will get it worked out.

I had a similar problem on Burghead. It was caused by water based resin glue swelling the card. I now use Pritt Stick for laminating now and I have had no more problems

Vermin Hello, unfortunately I know that there is a serious problem and I am not satisfied until I have remedied
Bob the problem was not caused by the glue, but the thickness of the paper that is too thin. Apparently the designer believed what he had done enough. I make a mess in sizes but in the end I managed to redo the whole dock with the card and the result is much more stable. Marco

Hi Marco,
I think I saw this problem before in another forum, too. Your new construction looks much more stable than the first/original one: A good decision. Greetings Dieter |

Vermin Hello, thank you. As they say perseverance is rewarded.
Dieter, thanks. really missed the construction of this kit in the other forum, and now I have to reinforce everything to avoid the error still incurs starting. Some progress with the warehouses. Marco
