Nicely expanding the airport, really impressive work!
Sincerely, Joe

Looking good Mike. So crowded and busy, busy, busy ... but spooky too with no people? Do I gather that my Chinese tourists are the wrong scale, or are you just balking at painting them?

did you notice the hotel car park (lower right) ? The pictures were taken in the early morning when people are still in bed. Those not there are either in the coaches or sitting in the arrival/departure waiting for their flight ;-)
As for the figures, I mentioned in an earlier note that the figures are too big. The attached is a minibox building and car the figure is way too big and I'm not a fan of big women, especially the ghostly type ! Cheers Mike |

Sorry about that Mike. As soon as I saw the painted ones (Which are the right size) I just pushed the white ones aside. As they came from the same source, it didn't occur to me to compare the sizes.
Are they suitable for 00 scale? I could push them towards my 00 fairground stuff, if I ever get around to building it of course. My problem with dioramas is the space required. My Medieval village base board is only 17" x 12.5", but being stashed behind my armchair, it is out of sight and out of mind, so it rarely gets looked at. Yes, I have started on it, but the castle looks a bit forlorn tucked away in one corner. Keep on snippin' ... Johnny. PS: Happy New Year to you and your's. |

That Deinonychus or whatever it is looks intriguing.
Mike, would something like Johan Schert does work for this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCUlQecUUgA

Stop showin' off with yer Latin Dave. It's a frill-necked lizard (Chlamydosaurus kingii), not a dinosaur.
It's one of four MB models I couldn't resist on eBay. There were no bids, so I got all of them for 90p each. Plus postage, but they were all fairly local. Johnny. |
