1960s Nick Fury Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. diorama textures
I was working on some textures that I thought might work for a Superman Fortress of Solitude diorama. I was using the 2008 Mandingo Rex Transformers Teletraan Ark wall files with the large computer console. You can still download them for free here Teletraan-I / Ark / Nemesis Display Panels! - Custom Repaints and Kitbashes - TFormers Community The Teletraan files are orange/gold/yellow and theres also a set of Nemesis Decepticon files in purple. I was repainting the orange over to a blue/gray and was planning on adding ice crystal textures for Superman. While I was painting I kept thinking the wall patterns looked familiar. I did research on the web for Jim Steranko's original artwork from Nick Fury in the 1960s and it does remind me of Steranko's work but with more of a 3D effect. Look at my split screen shot attached and some of you classic comic book fans tell me what you think. I'm working on my layout now for a 60s S.H.I.E.L.D. diorama/play-set for my Marvel action figures. I'll post more as I progress.
Clif PS:More free downloads for GI JOE and COBRA that are also repaints here. http://www.joeamaro.net/Base.html Last edited by clif52; 05-12-2014 at 02:35 PM. |

Thanks Vermin King. I've thought of quite a few today including the X-men's Danger Room. Hope to finish a couple of more wall pages tomorrow.
