Attack on HMS Invincible

Starting work on a 1:200 diorama of the argentine attack on the aircraft carrier "HMS invincible"

The attack formed of two super etendard (2-a-202, 2-a-205), one carrying an exocet missile, the other as a radar guide to guide it to the target. Four A-4C (c-301, c-310, c-321, and c-318). Each with 3 500lb bombs. Two of these A-4s would be shot down by SAM. And two KC-130s ( tc-69 and tc-70) as air refueling.

Diorama will consist of only the aircraft that got to attack the ship.

Base of paper, 3-4 layers of glue soaked toilet paper make the waves, large waves are the "wake" created by the engine exhaust.

Now to let the base dry and move on to the aircraft.

No unfortunately as I dont have a model of the ship (and im not sure if a 1:200 variant exists ) maybe someday I can build a similar diorama using JSC´s model but i would either have to scan and print on larger paper or make the diorama in the ships scale

JSC can do most of their models at 1;250 if you ask them but thats as close as you will get unless you do it yourself
