Gone fishin

Here is a little diorama I've been working on. I started with the Fiddlers Green Trottwood Trailer. Then I added in some paper models I have had sitting on my hard drive for ever;

a Fiftyish-looking car (I think its a French Citron...I'm probably butchering the spelling),

a old gas pump,

and an old looking Marina-kit I got from Rob Carleen when I was helping him beta-build some DHC Beavers for Design Group Alpha.

The diorama base was built out of styrofoam by my daughter for an arts and crafts project earlier this summer. She has allowed me to use it for this Photo Op.

I didnt worry too much about the scale. I just used the old mark 1 eyeball to resize when nessisary. The car probably is a bit too large, but the rest are pretty close in scale I think. Exactly What the scale is, I'm not sure.... I started with the trailer and tried to fit the rest to it, but I dont remember off hand now what the scale of it was.

The Citroen is a little large in scale
(Citron is french for lemon by the way...so you got it close!)

but what a fun looking diorama!!

Citroen

Nice Diorama. Like the theme too.

Citroen is a French automobile manufacturer now part of PSA Peugeot-Citroen celebrating 90 years as a car manufacturer this year.

A Citron is a citrus fruit and should not be confused with the common Lemon (though this can get complicated depending upon which country you're in in Europe).

I really like 2CV's but think that trailer might be a bit for one to pull.

Cute diorama, The car and trailer reminds me of the Disney Classic of Mickey, Donald and Goofy on a trailer outing through the mountains.

Of course that doesn't mean somebody out there didn't / wouldn't try it

Aside from the car, that scene looks like it would fit right into the real landscape here in North Florida along the blackwater creeks and lakes.

Thats not surprising; the shotgun shacks' designer lives near Pensacola Florida.
