Some progress on the camo job.

I was able to squeeze some time using Inkscape to do the camo job.

Done with the Pilot pod, engine, wings and landing gears. All that's left is the weapons pod, landing gear covers, and the squadron markings.

By the way, does anyone know what color is used for the wheel wells?

Anyway...a little side story. On my way to lunch at my favorite pizza place, I usually pass through a bargain bookstore. You know the kind that sells old issues of National Geographic, obsolete IT books, and crappy love story novels? Well... as I was walking, something caught my eye. A shiny book that bore the letters A-R-A-D-O. I was stopped cold in my tracks. I decided to have a closer look --- It turned out to be a Schiffer Military Series book called, "Arado: History of an Aircraft Company" (LINK: Amazon.com: Arado: History of an Aircraft Company (Schiffer Military History)…) Pristine condition, minus the book jacket.

I looked at the price tag... approximately $10! Without hesitation, I grabbed the book.

Damn! I should stop by that bargain bookstore more often.

Gerald,

Maybe. :D

The book also has a lot of nice diagrams for the Arado 240.

I haven't tried doing a design that uses propellers yet. I'll need to pick a simpler model to practice on first.

Cmags,

Thanks! I hope to complete this soon.

Eric,

I like your choice of coloring for this bird. I can't wait to see how it comes out. This model is really turning out to be quite the gem!
