Again... progress is slow. :(
I was a dreadfully tiring work week last week that I spent most of my weekend resting and browsing.

Anyway, I managed to finish the Pepakura unwrap. Here's how it looks like:

Surprisingly, the unfold produced a really clean set of parts. I guess the simple shape of the fuselage helped. I'm also certain the constant chord wings also helped reduce the number of parts. The only parts I'm really worried about now are the ones for the wing nacelles.

Again... I'm hoping to be able to do that elusive test build next weekend!

I'm also looking forward to that build. :D I just need 1 or 2 uninterrupted free time this weekend.

Anyway, I'm already starting to cook up the possible color scheme. What's stuck on my mind right now is the black tulip camo scheme used on Erich Hartmann's plane. I saw a picture of a Luftwaffe F86 Sabre at Wikipedia bearing the black tulip paint job. It looked pretty good!

Would you know where I can get illustrations of Hartmann's 109G with the black tulip paint job?

Dennie,
Thanks! I plan to write more.

Jeff,
Yes! These are perfect. Karaya-1. Thanks!
By chance, would you also have a zoom shot on that red heart?

Gerald,
Danke!
