Gerald, das ist wunderbar! Vielen dank!

Dragos, I plan to release this in painted form as a PDF file. This will make it easier to open on non-windows systems.

would it be possible to add a "pinoy" version of this aircraft? complete with paf liveries, our tri-colors or the "three stars and a sun" or the philippine islands? :D

Hey! That's a good idea. I'll see if I can get reference materials for this.

I was hoping to have a uncolored vectorial drawing for un easier repaint.

Oh okay.
Sure. I can also release the PDO when I'm done.

Update!

My test build has officially started.

For my opening salvo, I chose to do the wings first. I wanted to see just how hard the nacelles would turn out.

I start with the wing formers. Nothing much to report here, except for the fact that it was really hard cutting out those narrow slots.

Here's how the wing formers look before the wing is wrapped around them.
On Metaseq, I downscaled the wing formers's spars by 1% along the y axis, and 0.5% along the z axis. Using paper joining strips, the fit is pretty loose. I guess if I use the same cardboard for the joining strips, the fit will be a bit tighter. But all in all, I'm happy with the fit of the wing formers.

For some reason, using the same scale proportions, the wing tip formers have a much looser fit than that of the wings. But I guess it's more due to the inaccuracy of my cutting. :(

Surprisingly, the nacelles turned out alright. The rear cone portion was a bit hard to assemble though.

Good fit!

First wing done!

That's all for now I guess....

Wow, Eric. That is coming along nice. That nacell came out great. I bet it was tough to make that long thin cone, but it came out great...the whole wing has. Great job. More, please. :D
