I went to take more pics and my camera said "dead battery" so I will have to wait.
Here is the actual graphic, enlarged 5 or 600 percent. Does the head translate to you as a cube, trapezoid or?

I see it as a trapezoid, so the sides of his face angle down towards his chin, and the top of his head is a rectangle.

I'm seeing it as 2 seperate bits.
Here's the front, side and top.
None of my views have any perspective in them.
Try and visually snap out of seeing any perspective in the spybot graphic.
I am suggesting that the top of the head is not just one flat surface.

(In fact the head is a bit like the shape of a cistern in what is somewhat whimsically referred to as a bathroom.)

I see it the way Gharbad described. I am impressed by the way Maurice described as well, but I do not agree. I think it is amazing how the brain supplies missing details to each of us differently...

I have decided to leave it alone. I emailed Spybot S&D, in fact, I have been in contact with them for a couple months now, they sounded excited at the prospect and promptly answered all my emails...until I told them I was finished. I have not heard from them in over a week, and what's even stranger, the link they origionally provided for email contact OT from their software is no longer there.

On to the next project!

P.S. Thank you Maurice for taking the time to illustrate!

No worries Phil, you've produced a neat figure and I endorse your choice. It was the different possible interpretations that triggered my interest, and, as you point out, the original 2D image is short on some information.

Dear Phil,

You asked, I answer.
I don't like that spy bot because there's no dynamic and he looks rather silly. If he wants to be a hero he has to be smart, dynamic, cool like a winner type.

I attached a quick sketch of a few ideas.
- Eye brows and sunglasses can give a more intelligent look.
- mouth strong and serious with a touch of agression.
- tilted hat like Bogart, most cool detective ever! dynamic
- no super hero cape but trench coat, more serious detective/agent like outfit.

The figure could be realized with a few truncated cones sitting on
each other.

Howdy Phil! As usual I'm a day late and a dollar short.. The little guys head is a cube viewed from an oblique angle ( look at his feet!) You can't restrict an observers point of view in the physical world, so although you may think it looked weird, I think your translation of his head was as perfect! ~ you've captured the 2d artists point of view into your 3 dimensional model!.

Congrats on a winner! I can see why they loved your model..
