AIF-9V Ghost

Early last week Mr Takeuchi, a designer in Japan sent his pdo files of the AIF-9V Ghost and VF-25 Durandal from Macross Frontier that he just recently finished. Being a super big fan of Macross series, it is Christmas in July for me! So, I clear every projects off my desk and immediately jump on his models. The models was design to print on 8.5"x11" for 1/72 scale, but I like large scaled so I "print to fit" on 11"x17". The Ghost only came in two pages with low parts count, so was really easy to built. I want to go jump on the VF-29 too, but I will be going home at the end of the week, think I will just wait till I get back home before I start. Meantime, few pic of my sloppy AIF-9V Ghost built job for your pastime viewing.

Sweet build Allen! It took me a while to get used to it, but I feel the Frontier designs
have really grown on me, and I think they actually look cool now!

Do you have pictures of Mr Takeuchi's VF-25?

(Excellent build sidewinder, love the VF-25!)

His models are not set up for download. He give his models to people that follow his blog, at his leisure. I am just lucky that he sent his models to, and I do not have permission to share them.

Few shots of his VF-29.

Sidewinder, I totally forgot about a VF-25 already available! Oh well, I already set up template in Rhino, I'll build my anyway..... when I get to it, and I making it 1/32 scale.

He is a musician, a guitar player. I think that's his true hobby but not sure, I didn't read(translated form Japanese) every posts. His blog mostly plastic models of Macross Frontiers and that's how I found him. Yes I know, there are tens of thousands of blogs like that in Japan. I drop him a note and pic of my built and still waiting for his respond. He don't reply right away(at least to me) anyway, take a few days for him to to respond. I guess because he don't post everyday? Bottom line, if I don't have his permission, I don't share anything of his. But, his blog is on line and anyone can get to it just like I did, one just need to know what to google for.
