I should have taken photos. The girl I gave it to and I haven't talked in over six months. Maybe I'll do another one. Honestly, I probably could fix some of the things I wasn't happy with on it without a lot of difficulty. I guess this will have to go back into the short list.

Got things where I can be satisfied with it in Gimp, only now my computer and printer aren't talking to each other. So it will have to wait until I talk to Tech Support Monday. On a much larger scale, I finished up modifying Vladimir Micas' Spock figure with Leonard Nimoy's face. Heckuva lot of copying and pasting, but it looks like it should be good. Only time will tell

Good luck with the computer problems. I hope that you are able to get them fixed.

I am looking forward to seeing the Spock figure. Which era of Uniform are you going to have him in?

It's the Vladimir Micas model of TOS Spock

Papermau: Star Trek - Mister Spock Paper Toy - by Vladimir Micas

I just wanted him to look like Nimoy, so I did a bunch of copy and paste from various photos, with some color adjustment to make the face look more like him. It's a two-page figure, and I'll print at two-pages-per-page, so it should be effective, once I get the printer to listen to my computer. Sometimes smaller helps hide faults, so I think it should look good at the smaller scale. I need to do something with the ears...

Will start work on Spock tonight. Did the cyberman last night and tonight.

Started with Erwin de Jong's Gort found here: Cut & Paste Sci-Fi: The Day The Earth Stood Still
Not great, but I have yet to find a cyberman out there on the net

The Cyberman look GREAT!
I took a look as well and only found cubies, armor, and maskes.

I wish the designers that do all the Iron Man and C3PO figures were Doctor Who fans. I've gotten a minor start on Spock. I've cut out and edged up to part 8, but only have 1-4 glued. And I fixed the ears.

I won't kill this thread with Spock, though. I'm taking photos, so I will do a separate build thread.

Sorry about going off-track on this, but you did say you'd like to see the cyberman. I'm sure you could do a much better job, as I'm a novice at modding and repainting, but as I said, it served its purpose and now I have a memento of my own. Thanks for expressing interest
