VF-1 Valkyrie

Hello All,

I am posting a few pics here of the VF-1 Valkyrie I further developed of Shunichi Makino's VF-1S model.

I did quite an extensive thread on zealot but I dread the thought of trying to re-create that thread. All the models are still avaliable there for those not banned :P

For those who don't know what the VF-1 Valkyrie is, it's a variable form Fighter that transforms into a robot and a robot plane hybrid for specific fighing requirements. Shunichi had designed a Fighter and Gerwalk (robot-plane hybrid) but not the Battroid (robot mode). I detailed up the Fighter mode and re-designed most of the Gerwalk. I also designed the missing Battroid mode. The project grew and grew and the landing gear and codkpit as well as many more details were made.

Janx designed all the weapons and super armor system accessories for this project. I couldn't have done it without him

He also re-drew the BMP files I did in vector and added decal enhancements for greater detail.

Here we have pix of my 1st non proto build. It's the VF-1A Max type.

Armed with the standard GU-11 Gunpod and the AMM-1 Missiles.

This build also features a clear canopy and cockpit garnished with a pilot figure designed by Janx.

I have the other 2 modes still to build on this one but I'm tied up with test building other project ATM :p

Hello getter1,

nice to have you here in this friendly forum. I´ve been in this "other f." and seen all your works there.

Your models are great and inspiring.
So i hope you will stay here for long and enjoy all of us with mor of your models.

Its treating us really well.

Getter 1 I can post some of the files up as and when. I have put the armour on hold for now though.
