ZIO's Figures as Repainted by Ifuente

This is a 4-inch tall figure repaint by Ifuente basing on Zio's figures. It's called Royal Navy Lieutenant 1795. But Google says it's likely to be a Royal Navy Midshipman and it seems to be so after looking at the uniform pictures. With respect, thanks anyway to Ifuente for sharing these great figures.

The poses of this figure are modified by me. The man seems to be saying, "Well......?"

Before I got into paper modeling, my primary hobby interest was painting/scultping military miniatures. Figure hobbyists normally mount their finished works on wooden bases with groundwork to set the scene and show off their creations to best advantage. I've built a couple of Zio's 90mm figures over the years and developed a simple two-part pedestal base to "elevate" them. I've attached a few variations below. All that's needed is a name plate.

Always happy to share. The display base can be used in several ways: just the low bottom piece, just the top tall piece, or they can be combined. I used both pieces to display my Zio Joan of Arc. The groundwork consisted of a little static grass, and a great helm. I think it elevates the finished model in more ways than one. Joan of Arc in 90mm
