Playful Kitty from Bayer Japan

As I have joined the ranks of those with health issues, and was already in the group with little time, I was looking for something really cute.

Since my Gracie died in November and Calico Girl is in the process of dying, I was looking for a cute cat and found this one.

If I could read Japanese, I am sure it would have been easier. I had to add a missing tab, but otherwise a nice build over the last few weeks

You can find it at ペーパークラフト|Bayaspirin.JP

Well, I need to get things organized for the Calico memorial. She passed away last night. Got her buried today when I got home from the folks. Since the vet on Feb 14, 2023 gave her two weeks maybe, I think she did pretty good making it to June 11

I had planned to do the low-poly cat at Canon, only marked closer to my little gal, but it isn't as easy to see which panel should be which color in the pdf's. It would be easier if there was a pdo with it.

Dude, sorry to hear about Calico. They are family, no matter what.

When she made it this long against the odds, you just start hoping too much. We did have some pretty good times over the last few months, though. One of the times she was outside, she acted like she heard a mole or something underground, and I told her that I would be impressed if she got it in her shape, and she did!

Well, I am creating a map of the facets in the model, using the instruction images and a spare set of parts. Numbering the parts and putting those numbers on the instruction images to figure out what goes where. Once I finish the 'mapping', I will be able to put appropriate colors on the different facets. I have already noticed that her colors don't break off on the lines very well, often bisecting the triangles. I think I might do a couple of these. One will be doing the facets in one color, and if I think it warrants, going back and bisecting some of the facets. We'll see

They remind me of our beloved Kiki-chan, a similar-looking cat who adopted us in Japan in 1986 and lived with us in Carlisle until 2003.
