obviously this is not the most cost effective way to build these, you can buy plastic figures at less than a buck and modify it for your rebel vehicle,

besides this build method will soon be obsolete with the impending arrival of Tirick poseable generic figures,

still, if you need one today, this is one way to do it, i will upload the powerpoint file i used in the first pic when i get to work tomorrow. it is not very useful except for the head piece.

Very good Marksolo: I laminated cardstock to get the depth, did not think of using regular cardboard, Much faster than lamination. Will also try this technique out with a little modification.

speaking of plastic figures, they DO resemble the 3" Luke skywalker pilot figure from Kenner that came in an X-wing

Thanks for the nods gentlemen! Makes the experience all sweet now

G1: would it be too much to hopeful that you and Janx will design more Macross and Maspeada figures at bigger scales now?

Ok, here is the actual powerpoint file I used. The face is too short and too fat, note that i painted the eyes over and cut them longer. The only 'as is' part are the helmets and the chest panel, which are all you need to make one today if you dont want to wait for Tirick's universal figure
