paper question
My first three card models were made from what I had on hand--Georgia Pacific card stock at 110 lb (about 410 gsm, if my conversion is correct).
Is GP a reasonable brand? Is 60-lb card better? What are some good brands available in US office supply stores that work well with ink jet printers? |

GP is a decent choice, but it tends to easily delaminate when rolled.
I use Canon Matte Photo paper - weight 45lbs - available at Office Depot. This gives me much better color registration and is easier to form.

In normal situation, when you have solid framing in the model, it's not an issue - lookup my P-38H Lightning build GreMir (coming soon) P-38H Lightning
When there is no framing for larger surfaces, ea wings, you can always laminate the skin with a second layer of card to get more rigidity, see my A5M4 Claude build Skyline Paper Models Mitsubishi A5M4 Claude (Beta)
