Cool Hearses, hearses, foiled again!

Yes, Lala, there's a hearse paper model [you thought I was going to say a Santa Clause, didn't you...], circa 1900s out there. I've got a copy but I can't remeber who sent it. It was a free model, though, so I'll check my records to see if I can find the addy for you.

The kit contains a glass sided wagon [another good use for your cigarette cover plastic (I used clear sheet protectors), with curtains and a coffin inside. The whole model was about 8” long and very nicely detailed with…

wait for it…

Great assembly instructions!

You have to supply the horse!

It was black with red curtains and a brown coffin. An excellent kit .

I'll try to recall where I got it and forward the link, if your interested in such "terminal" subjects!

Sorry to interrupt the thread, but I like sharing my collection of odd kits [I like odd things!].

Back to sanding [a more deeply ingrained matter & rougher subject],

If the edge can be seen, I first put a dab of superglue or clear lacquer to prevent the individual cellulose fibers from coming loose. Doing this ensures you have a crisp edge.

The hearse is an Ed Bertschy model - it can be downloaded from Zealot - it's one of the smartgroups downloads I saved.
