I also like the immediacy of electronic download, but there are some great models that only come on disc.

Kooklits U-Boat is a prime example. I ordered the disc from ThaiPaperwork, it came very quickly from Thailand, no problems.

I've also ordered from Delta7 their Gemini series and Retro Rockets discs. Well worth the week or so for delivery.

Fiddler's Green (although I have yet to actually start anything I got there)
AXMPaperSpaceScaleModels.com (Just about the only game in town for most of the ISS, and excellently rendered at that).

Good to know Chris.
I must admit, though, I enjoyed getting the package from so far away. I saved it!

Anyplace that has the model I am desperate for...usually Paper Model Store for printed, Gremir for their exclusive models (in other words, all of them), ditto for Paper Shipwright and Digital Navy, eCardmodels for anything Marek, Sergey or Fitter, Moduni for the ones nobody else has with help from Paper-Hobby, Model-Hobby and GPM. To parapharase Caesar in "I, Claudius" - is there ANY paper model store on the internet that has not sold to the OldTroll?

Hmmm...Anyplace that has the model I want actually.

So far I've ordered from Fiddler's Green, Monduni, GPM, Dewayne's site, ecardmodels,
Gemir, and one or two others who's names have slipped what passes for my mind nowadays...

After thinking about it, I would have to say that it is not strange to load up ones hard drive with models, or to have a stack of pre-printed unmade models in your desk. That is just another collection. However, I see how it can become an obsession! I now have many new sites to shop at thanks to all of you. And by the way, I never knew how many models I was in need of until I saw them at one site or another!
