Realsoft 3D

Does anyone have any experience with Realsoft 3D? Reason I ask is that the latest issue of 3D World to hit the Barnes and Noble news stand has a free, fully functioning version 5.1 on its coverdisk. The readme file states it has an unwrap function as well as modeling tools, so might be useful for our application. If so, the price is right...even considering shelling out near $16 for the magazine.
