Source for A4 card stock in the US

Hi guys, I am trying to find a source for A4 card stock in the US. I have just ordered 3 of Barry's kits (Tarawa, Spruance, and Sea-Land Express) from Ecardmodels and the Yamato from Digital Navy so will need a few reams of card stock. any suggestions would be great thanks

I give you a trivial hint: if you have sufficient white margins in the template, just use a letter format, setting the printer to 100% scale and centered: a letter is 18 mm shorter than an A4, so the parts should not be quite near the margin.
If the height is insufficient, you can think to edit[*] the template (if it's a pdf or an image) and rearrange the parts in order to fit them inside a letter.

Sometimes I do the opposite, when I have letter templates to print onto A4 sheets.

[*] To edit a pdf I use GIMP: it doesn't always yield perfect results, but in some cases it helps.

One work around is to get Legal size cardstock and print at 100% on that. You can use the left over card stock for laminations and reenforcements.

Staples sells a 11x17 inch card stock that I use for A4 printing. You are at their mercy, when it comes to paper thickness (what ever they have in stock).

I purchased top quality Japanese company A4 160gm card stock in the USA.

I need to find my contact info though since it was a few years that I ordered it from.

Their paper is superb for printing.

So if the file is A4 format, you will not need to make changes to the printer or paper size.

Legal size is next best option.

Thanks for the input guys, I will give legal size a shot, it's not like I can't reprint a page, and I have a feeling I will be reprinting a lot of them.

I'd love to find a source for A4 cardstock, but until I can, I just order legal size from Amazon. They carry the same brands and weights as the letter size. Yeah, there is some waste but it's a means to an end.

Exclamation

Back in 2019, I purchased A4 card stock 160 gm from Misumi USA. Hyper laser copy. code HP102

MISUMI: Industrial Configurable Components Supply

Misumi
USA HEADQUARTERS

Schaumburg, IL 60173

Mon-Fri 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. ET
Sat 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. ET

I just went on their web site and they do not carry it anymore. may want to call them or see if some other place carries it.

as far as paper, I suggest you get the best quality for model printing. Many card stock variants I purchased in the US ( like office depot ) in letter size were really coarse and did not work well ( actually are crap ). I am yet to find a good quality paper even in letter or legal size. There are specialy paper stores that do carry quality stock.

Here is what I purchased in the past.
