Model-Kom instructions
Some but not all model publishers include a key to symbols used in their instructions. Model-Kom includes a part key but doesn't have any explanation - have already translated the text instructions which don't say much - for the thickmess of the formers.
Just wondering if anyone knows whether what ** and *** mean. The instructions call for "...cardboard with a thickness of 1mm and 0.5mm and a card stock (technical block)..." Also wondering what thickness/weight the card stock might be...? The specific model I am working on is the Model-Kom 1/25 SS-27 Topol-M2. Thanks for any advice Simon

On another Model-Kom publication (the Long Tom) they said
** - 0.5mm *** - 1mm That's different from many other publishers. Charlie |

Thanks, Charlie, that was way I was leaning from the fit of some of the parts but others were a bit more ambiguous. I want to start on some of the wheels and 1mm tread would equate to 25mm IRL which would be about right...
It'd be good if publishers would agree on a standard key for this info.
