No one has mentioned the Czech kits, maybe because they are Central European.

I've never had problems with kits from this part of the world and I usually go to a supplier although there are plenty of publishers.

You should also think about what subject models you want to make , for example Minibox are very good for buildings and vehicles all-in 1:300

If you want to go it further east there is papermodeling.net in Ukraine.

If you are worried about postage etc, you could also try Amazon or ebay but be careful - there are quite a few pirate kits and can cost 2 or 3 times the proper price.

Cheers
Mike

I'll second the comment about "over designed" for some kits. The new releases from Card Army look amazing (designed and rendered by Halinski's Marcin Dworzecki), but they also look ridiculously difficult to build (and with a price to match). As an example of a publisher that produces outstanding kits with great graphics and mid-level complexity, I can unreservedly recommend Kartonowa Koleckcja (Pawel Mistewicz). I recently finished his DH.82A and will post pics of it soon.

It's worth pointing out that publishers are not synonymous with designers, as designers often have their models released by more than one publisher. A good piece of advice is to find the designers you like and then hunt for their models across the publishing spectrum.
