Clever idea to use plastic models instruction sheet profile drawings as a starting point to a paper model. It works well.

Hello! I would like to present my little model. I made it based on designs by Lou Coatney. JN Hiei 1:1250 scale. After completion, I felt that a few more things were needed. Tower expansion, boat, anti-aircraft gun emplacements, aircraft, antenna cabling at least simulated. Please welcome!

Go ahead! I am waiting for the result! My next work will also be Master Coatney's other work, IJN Kirishima. Until then, I'll show you another model, the Czech President Masaryk river guard boat. It's not ready yet. Railings, armament, antenna cabling, boats, rescue belts, etc. are still in vain.

Unless one is not satisfied with the possibilities offered by the designer :-) I gave the deck hatches a 3D option (reprinted and glued to the original) I made steps and railings (not everything is ready yet) I replaced the tubes of the guns with a hypodermic needle (much cheaper than buying the factory kits), stiffening, dirt, bending ventilation pipes from plastic pipe, etc :-)
