Best cardstock for 1:144

Hello!

I recently found out about paper modeling and saw some models online in 1:144 scale. I am wondering what kind of cardstock/paper I should use. I've recommendations range from 65 lb to 90 lb cardstock and I am not sure what would be a good choice.

As one who builds the 1/144 scale, I recommend nothing heavier than 65lb cover stock.
For things like rolling landing gear or other small rolled tubes (think missiles), I use regular
printer paper. Office Depot has been good to sometimes give me two or three sheets of some
open stock they have to try, once I explain the hobby.

Good luck.

Depends on the shape of the model. For aircraft fuselages and wings 120gsm seems a good choice, for smaller parts 80gsm, but for larger flat surfaces up to 160gsm works.
