Boxes on the bottom of some pages

I wonder what those boxes at the bottom of certain pages are for? My guess was they were for matching up colours in case you needed to paint over impurities in a part.

You guessed it - these are reserve areas with the colors from the sheet for carrying out repairs sometimes a 'rezerwa' is printed beside the boxes.
