actually, uhu himself told me, indirectly. he has posted the new password and username somwhere on the web. anyone who found the old one by sleuthing can find the new one easy (i assume, i never found the old one).

PS his models are AWESOME.

Oh now that's just evil!

Now I'm going to knock myself out trying to figure out the other username/password! :D

(Some of you may ask "why". Simple- Because I can!)

Getting sick of seeing threads about this. Is there some kind of monthly or weekly quota?

Stev0,
In spite of being sick of these threads, you appear to have a fascination which draws you in like the attraction felt by a moth for a flame.

I can understand how it can be annoying to long time members. However, people who are new to the hobby can not be expected to arrive on the scene with the decades of knowledge and expertise of some of our more senior and esteemed members.

It is only natural that those new to the hobby are going to have a lot of questions. Since they are also often new to using forums it is unlikely that they will know how use the search function. They will post threads in the wrong areas, they will ask questions that have been answered repeatedly and on occassion post links to pirate sites.

As long standing and more informed members it is more constructive to point them in the right direction than to continously express our frustration.

I would hate to see anyone turned off of this great hobby or abandon this community due to an ill considered remark. We were all noobs once . . . and it is a rare day that I don't learn something on this forum.

Thing is ... do we REALLY need to see a whole thread about this when it could be just mention in one of perhaps dozens of UHU02 threads which touch on the fact that the models are difficult to acquire if your not in the know.

I love his work and I think he really should charge for his models, but it seems that honest people are getting the hard time here and anyone can get these by an easier dishonest method.

I guess it brings me to the saying of "Locks are for honest people".
