Never seen a monoject before. I am ordering one before tomorrow. That along with the use of a sponge sounds like it should be work bench required. Up till now (both months) I have been using this needle. I got it from the vet. after showing him the cover photo on my phone. My Pilsworth 314. The needle is for injecting 'chips' in pets. The barrel has an ID over 2mm. Sand or file the very sharp tip down just enough not to snag on the paper.With care it will leave up to an 8mm wide thin band of glue.

Well i can say after using the pet kind of syringe now for months it sure has worked well. I even found that matchstick on the end was not great for keeping the glue fresh in the one I got but alas alas. I found that the screw hook for a net curtain works great just the perfect deminsion for the job. I was afraid do at first it would crack the nozzel but no it worked.
