If that bike is art, then the bulkheads flying around in all of the CH53E helicopters and UH60 Blackhawks and S76 Helicopters that I programmed and made from raw ingots of Aluminum are works of art.

That bike is not worth $38.95, it is not art, it is an expensive, simple paper model.

A Bugatti Veyron cost 1.5 million dollars...is it worth it?
Well since its the only one of its kind and thats what you have to pay to get it, then that is what it is worth!
If another company offered the exact same car for half the price, then the Bugatti would be overpriced and "not worth it"...but they don't!...so it is.

The bicycle model is art...because I enjoy looking at it...and that is one of the definitons of "art"...it evokes emotion.
Since it bothers you so much, it has also evoked emotion in you...therefore you prove it is art with every comment you make.

No, the Bugatti is not worth it, especially as it costs around $60K a year just to drive it. Did you see the price of the tires? It is to someone though, probably the same guy who will buy the little bicycle, and hang it from the mirror.

The last line of your post is well, by that statement, no one can think about anything. My emotion was, meh, not worth it.

To the people who wanted a Veyron and bought a Veyron, they have no problem with the price.
To them, it was worth it.
to Bugatti, who put 1.5 million dollars worth of design, testing, parts and manpower into making it...its worth it.

I personally think it is a lot for an automobile...and i haven't bought one.
So i can't keep demanding that it "is not worth it".

and by the way, I think the Veyron, like all automobiles, are works of art.
whether produced one at a time by hand...or mass produced.
