You are sooooo right, Sidewinder! A new post just showed up of a modeler from Poland who is displaying his 1/25 scale rail splitter. this is an incredible model, too!

This is a fantastic and inspiring build of a really good looking kit. I wish my skills were at Tomek's level. I'm still working up the courage to try this one as well as the Stuka. The Stuka comes with skins for either the Euro or North African schemes. I'd love to do one of each!

Great model!
Almost as good as a previous P-39 that I first saw when I was just finding out about this hobby........... seems to me that one was a larger scale...... wasn't it Leif? |

Having both the Halinski and the KW kit I would strongly recommend the KW kit over the Halinski. The KW kit easily matches the quality of the latest Halinski kits. The Halinski P-39 was published in 2003 and though very good it is dated by the current models being produced.
If you want a KW kit I would suggest that you contact KW directly. Thought he may not be selling them direct now when I ordered both the JU-87 and the P-39 with all the extras the cost with shipping was a little under $60. I just had Halinski quote me on two models and just the shipping and handling came to over $40. Jim Nunn

amazing build. Love the "dented" fuel tank! I imagine was an accident, but makes it look all the more real

Tomek tossed us (us - the kartonwork.pl users) with his amazing build. Here You can see his progress in papermodeling:
modelarstwo kartonowe, plastikowe ... :: Zobacz temat - Z pozdrowieniami z Hamaryki (...przywitanie...) I'm not able to follow him

Perhaps it's the tradition of old world craftsmanship, but our European counterparts do seem to exhibit an extraordinarily high level of skill in their model building. Check out that website, and scroll down to his Bf-109 build. The prop spinner on the model is, well, perfect.
