status of PIRATE website?

In the past, I have found many models and literature at the PIRATE website, but it now appears to not be functioning. The news section which shows new models and literature has not had an update since April of this year.

I would appreciate any information anyone has on this site.

I'm not sure that it's a great loss as that is a well-known pirate site...sorry...

Caveman, as SJPONeill posted, that is a pirate website is not a great loss at all. Its best not to download anything from there and instead support the designers by purchasing or downloading directly from them or authorized vendors. Links can be found at the top RIGHT of the forum.

Even beyond the moral aspects of downloading from pirate websites, you also have an increased risk of downloading malware or worse.

IP piracy can be hard work, but not as difficult as honest supply.... maybe that site is withering because it is not as easy to be a criminal in a cyber world anymore...

More likely because they started charging for access to their pirated goods - nothing kills a pirate quick that a request for payment...

It's supposed to say "status of xxxxxxx website". There may be a statue of Jean Lafette in Louisiana, but I don't know.
