Paper Shooters take 2
Hello, seems they're trying to raise the money for it again, but this time they'll produce it even if they don't make the goal.
Hopefully they have more color options available when it comes out. CARDBOARD RIFLE: Blast Paper Ammo Up To 75ft! | Indiegogo N.

I think that might be whats holding them back
...except for the "Golden Touch" paint scheme, they all remind me of children's cartoon themes. I actually looked around for a "Barbie" logo or a "Hello Kitty" face. Looks like an interesting toy, and the $45 buy-in is a reasonable number. Offer up a couple of realistic style Military camos and sales would probably rocket. (I wonder if they are forced to present the weapons in a brightly coloured comical style?) ... oh, I just saw the "Digital Ops" ...it looks a lot better. But its not in the Perks list at the bottom of the page?

In the UK toy guns are usually sold in unrealistic colours to prevent tragic accidents, this is even though (I am proud to say) our police are not normally armed.
Maybe the colour schemes are in the same vein? |

As far as I know, the law over here says the barrel tips have to be capped
with a bright yellow part or the tip itself has to be painted a conspicuous colour ...but I don't think the entire gun needs to brightly coloured. Not sure this law applies to Paintball Guns though...and these 'shooters' might fall into the same category as paintball weapons? ... Since these are not completely cardboard guns. They require a pre-molded, pre-assembled plastic and metal (springs, etc) mechanism that is the central operating component of the "cardboard" gun...its not going to be very hard to find all kinds of reasons to ban these! lol

I'm not saying I would turn it down if it was a gift it being Christmas and all. Ya never want to hurt some one's feeling just because they went way out of there way to buy you and a gift and not only didn't you buy him a gift in return, you didn't even send him a Christmas card. Now that's bad. But really folks, there was a child shot and killed here in the Bay Area with a toy pellet guy buy a police man. I think a line has to be drown and it should be right here. wc

Okay guys, please end this kind of talk, it never ends well, usually ends with the thread being locked.
And as much as I'd like to give my opinion on the subject, I won't, it wouldn't help any, it'd just make it worse.. No hard feelings though. N.
