Still can't get the download from this site to work. Did get the model I really wanted with the help of a couple of the guys. Thanks, much appreciated.

I've tried several times and yesterday I went to Firefox and tried it again. It was a 280M file that would download about 20-24M then freeze. After awhile it would cancel. I would then hit retry and it would do an additional 20-25 M then freeze. Each one of this sequences took about 20 minutes. Finally after about 4 hours I'd go up to 200M then it froze completely froze and then cancelled the download and dumped it.

Tried it again this morning and make it to about 190 M in about 4 hours before it dumped again. Going to blame it on Cox's servers. Hadn't had problems in awhile with it, but a few nights ago after work on it checking email, etc. When all of a sudden the internet shut down with no connections. When through all the different things, resetting modem, etc. Finally called Cox Tech and it was 'yeah we've got something messed up on an outage, might have it going by the morning'. This used to happen about ever 3 weeks, but had been pretty good over the last year. Oh well.

Glad to have my Netzero DSL and a land line. I've been able to download each one I was interested in with no problem.

I got 2 at my Local Library (Yes I Am on a Tower/Desk Top--MINE Not Library)
Using Maxthon I got both though almost a minute each.

I have used Download Accelerator Plus DAP as a manager, and it was always Good
And Yes would resume stalled/paused downloads It Is Free
and will act as an add-on to Firefox as well as work as a Stand-alone!!

I said I would Never Downgrade from XP, but That tower Crashed/Dumped its OS and will not let me re-install with the CD/DVD!!
So, sadly I am on a win8 now
Worst part is it wants to update even when NOT on-line!!!!!

Missed this place the past few months!!!!!

I managed to download all 8 files last night. Left the last one running and went to bed. Almost 1.4 GB total. If anybody is having difficulties downloading, I can burn to CD or DVD and mail. Just PM me.

How about those want/need the help offer to send a 2-4 GB Thumb-Drive.
I have a couple blank 2 & 4 GB Thumb-Drives.
In-fact, I have All my paper models on 10 16 GB Thumb's.
Divided by topic/designer.
Same idea n ow with ALL my files. Music, Videos, books, pic's, etc.
Just wish I could back-up Software that way.

I have not read all pages here, so don't know if the Subway/Train is available yet.

I just finished getting the last listed available model.
Only 10-15 Minutes Total between the 6 I got Today.
and using the Library's Wireless on my Desktop/Tower.
It CAN be done.
I would be willing to help too.
Just send me a 2-4 GB Thumb or a CD & I will send the files.

Thanks to everybody that has offered to help. As I said I have the one that I really wanted. Now its more just trying to figure out what the problem is with trying to get them to download on my system or since I've tried IE, Chrome and Firefox is the problem with Cox.

Being stubborn, thought I'd give this another try. Guess you have to register and log in now to attempt to download. Oh well.

I just tried the first link on the first page of this thread and it downloaded OK...no request for login etc..

If it helps - maybe not - the first of this season's crop of MaksArt models is well underway...

You're correct about the log in. Looked again and there is a log in in the upper right corner, but that is for someone wanting to access the site to post a download...not just to try a downloading. So think I'll give it another shot.
