Thanks for posting this. I was thinking about going back and checking it out, and didn't until I saw this. When you say this robot is for children, what age is it geared for?

Some of the models seem a tad bit more complex than a casual glance would suggest. Were the models designed by the kids as part of the open-source deal?

It looks like a programmable robot 2motor rover kit with ultrasound object avoiding sensors and infrared line following ability that you can dress up with paper models. It not cheap and I have seen other set ups that do more for less $$ or are capable of doing more (like the Leggo mindstorm which is also not inexpensive, but seems to be infinitely expandable and). It might keep a 10 year old interested for an hour or two.
The paper models are nice, though.

This is a Japanese site with many low poly animal paper models and some models of heads, either from movies or anime, and a few late model politicians.
