The recent Canon paper models show that the Japanese have made a significant advance in ice cream technology : cone stands that keep your hands clean and catch drips. https://www.fodors.com/wp-content/up...i-Branch-1.jpg They also make cup cakes in a cone. The model is now available on the English language site:
Miniature world (Kitchen car / Ice cream) - Miniature world - Toys - Paper Craft - Canon Creative Park And while you're there, searching for "Miniature world" brings up more examples.

New kids' stuff from Sanwa Paper Museum If you leave out the PC the "syosai" could be a Japanese man cave from any time in the last 60 years. Click on the buttons to the left to find many more paper crafts. Epson released a paper model of a 1950's Japanese living room, but to download it, you had to have an Epson printer, made for the Japan (not international) market and a Japanese OS. I wrote Epson USA to see if I could get copies of their only for Japan models, after all I did have an Epson printer. I got a very polite reply to the effect that Japanese models to leave Japan was not a possibility. I have posted links to Japanese restaurant buildings, and Mauther (papermau.blogspot.com) has posted Japanese buildings and restaurants.
