Frustrated
We're only 1 day into this and already my blood pressure is up. Volker and I must be on different wavelengths when it comes to hiding that days vehicle. Just spent well over an hour looking for today's vehicle. I think I looked at every snowflake, character, shadow, house, tree decoration, etc., etc. How long does it take y'all to find a vehicle? Don't want to be given the vehicles, just want to find the %)^&* things!
Sorry - just had to vent. Guess this thing is not for me. Nothing personal Volker. I think it's wonderful, all the work you put into this and the cheer you bring to so many.

Elliott - Unless I am missing something, you just go to the site (racepaper.de - germany - bremen -- Predes (C)2000-2003) and click on the number 1 for the first day of Advent, and the model should be yours. After Christmas, additional goodies will probably be made available via parts of the picture you have to discover, but for the next 25 days, just click on the number of the day. Don

Number 1 - pretty good Landrover Campervan, but as usual, there's no indication of what a lot of the parts are for. What's that blue thing that looks like a solar panel for? I'm going to try rescaling this for 1/76th and then when I build it I'll post photos if I can.
It looks like this Advent calendar is going to be a load of individual models, rather than parts of one big model, which is good because if you miss one day at least you've got stuff that you can use. One year I got nearly all of a big crane but missed a day so it was useless.

There's a pic of the built model on Streetpaper/Racepaper's facebook.
(I'm sure I saw another one yesterday showing the other side) edit: yes, it was on Volker's own FB (click on his name on the other FB page)

Dear Elliot and others:
The nice thing about the forum is we look out for each other if you miss one ask here if some one will share with you, Cat eat your computer house burned down mother in law came to dinner and stayed etc. Google search is wonderful I believe that the Landrover is a Discovery 310 with a after market camper shell from France and their site has interior pictures. So Elliot if you still don't have #1 PM me. Miles |
