UHU02's model of a Kaju destroying the Tokyo tower is now avaialble for download. Get the model before it goes into the vault.

I spent all morning downloading it.

Best part is that the Tokyo Tower is a much simpler version of his previous kit.
Only three very simplified pages for the tower.
The monster looks great. Classic Japanese fiction maggot beast.

I'm still amazed at how UHU manages to create a single letter-sized page
with only vector graphics that weights 389Mb. That's still beyond my comprehension.
It crashed my Acrobat reader. And I have plenty of ram and processor.

The "lightweight" (96Mb for 6 pages) version of it looks just the same visually.

A nice little kit certainly.

I cannot open the two large PDF files on my regular cmputer, I will try it again when I get access to another computer that has more RAM and a graphics accelerator. The KAJU looks like it would be a nice stand alone model to put on the dining table.

I think the images have enough resolution that the model could be printed and built 1:1.

.
And based on the above, I still may not be able to open the files on the other computer. UHU02 must have a monster graphics machine that dims lights across Japan when he turns it on, in order to handle the files he creates.

I have been watching the work in progress pics on his site and drooling/waiting. I don't think I have seen any large Tokyo Tower kits like the Schreiber Bogen Eiffel Tower. A beautiful looking kit.

UHU02 is a fantastic artist. Details that you don't even see in large plastic kits.

As a Paper Modeler-(want to be) there is no way you can look upon any of his models and wonder how he thought if this or that and made a perfect model with instructions so maybe one day even I can try to build it. The man is a God and I for one want to thank him for really boosting the level of Paper Modeling. wc

Those are some big files if you download them individually. There is a 6 page pdf stwm.pdf that is only around 97MB that has the six pages of the individual pdfs. It is located a little below the listing for the six pages. The translation of the note before the download link reads:

Still it is quite difficult to download downloading JPG conversion PDF pasted version

If it is (and I don't doubt it a bit), we all know it will be the most detailed and perfect kit of the MF ever designed.

Just checked on UHU02's site, that is most definitely the Falcon's cockpit. Oh my !! A UHU02 Falcon, the detailing is going to be frightening - can we wish for internal detail ?
