Printable Printers from Canon

Canon Creative Park has a pair of paper printers, complete with cartridges, available for download.

Interesting. But why? It seems such an odd subject for a paper model design. You can't build it unless you already have it....

I think Squirrel refers to the fact that it is the ultimate catch-22:
You need a printer to print a printer. If you don't have a printer you can print one, but you need a printer to print it.

I think you guys all missed the point.
(Unless I am confused by what I see)
They're Boxes...Storage Boxes...for storing stuff.
They even show the one box full of replacement Ink Cartridges.
But the boxes have been styled to look like current Canon Printers...a little Canon self promotion.
They're just decorated storage boxes that you can build yourself.
Everyone needs boxes to put stuff in.

... and I had been thinking they showed hyper real models of cartridges inside the printed printers. Boxes to hold cartridges that look like printers that you print with your printer are still like a tail eating snake.
And I missed the big clue, they really are boxes, the name is not a translation glitch.
