The Ships of Paper
Los barcos de papel
A very prolific and generous designer of paper models who seems to have uploaded his creations in one go, in March 2015. There are pictures of his completed models, most of which are available for download. There is no information about the artist on the site except that he speaks Spanish, and his subjects suggest he is from Spain. There are many late 19th and early 20th century ships and a tank, the tank probably done by a guest artist. The ships are modeled in a style similar to that of Oli Bizer so they are simple and yet at the same time complex looking. I hope that this artist breaks his two year silence and resumes posting. Unfortunately, in order to to post a comment on his blog requires registration on other sites, to which I am not, otherwise I would. |

Hei, John.
I have discovered this blog some days ago. I have post a pair of comments about the models that haven't the pages of pieces for download. A friend told me that the designer reply the questions via comments. About the models I think the scale is a little strange, about 1/325-1/350 scale. But the originality of the models compensates for the rarity of the scale, I think. The designer posts a new model about every two months |

The Trubia tank on this website is one of the few tanks built in Spain. There's an article on the tank on Landships II (Landships II) as well as a download of the Trubia model. The Trubia model was designed by Pablo Martin.
The Trubia tank didn't make it to production but a related design the Trubia Naval was produced in small numbers during the Spanish Civil War. I think Sergey Kamotsky (https://vk.com/robototehnikpaper) has a model of the Trubia Naval. Regards, Charlie |

Hey! he has a CSS Selma! Awesome. All of these are interesting. Oh for the build time! is it just me or does everyone end up with more models then you could build in a lifetime? These are a great find!

What a site!!!!!!!!! I take it that you have to save the photos to build the models as there is no download "button". Thanks for posting.
