Independence Day Bald Eagle and Other Paper Birds

I was watching a Youube video on how to make Johan Scherft's Paper Hummingbird and I just happened to stumble on this Independence Day Bald Eagle build and link to the paper model files: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0dW0oe3I8A

In case you were wondering, this is the link to Johan Scherft's Paper Bird Models: Johan Scherft

The download link is at the bottom of the description of the YouTube video, along with a link to the Adobe Illustrator file.

That is the Canon Bald Eagle that was repainted, so you can use Canon's instructions for the build.

And no, it's not a "borrowed" design. This recolour was done by Ikou Anazawa, who designed the original Bald Eagle for Canon. Brilliant ain't it. I've sort of promised myself that I WILL be building this before July 4th this year. Instead of my usual trick of shrinking things though, I want to double size this one. I am surprised that it hasn't found it's way into the canon catalogue yet though.

Yes it is quite a nice model, but, if you double the size make sure to reinforce the wing frames because they may be a little weak to support it. I remember reading where somebody tried to make one with a 6' wingspan and it collapsed under its own weight.

I have built two of them at normal size, the regular eagle and the Independence Day eagle.
