For Mothers Day
Here's a simple Pop-up card that I found on the Basteln mit Papier YouTube channel. It took just a few hours to build, hand color and mount the flowers onto an appropriate card.
The top and bottom borders were already part of the card, so I just pasted in a blue background. I decided to add the butterflies as a finishing touch. They are stock internet images with hand drawn antenna. The YouTube video can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPpardXYQvY Curt |

Something I missed last year!
Nicely done Curt ...and since its time for another Mother's day (2021) I will share what I found at Canon. Canon is always a good place to find Greeting Card ideas... and this year I am being very lazy and not making my own (which I usually do) So, after a quick search for "Mother" "Flower" and "Roses" at Canon I found a number of interesting projects. Canon Mother Search Results I wanted a pop-up Flower something...and the Rose Basket looks interesting. I think I'll try that one, its only 4 pages. but there are also some nice folded cards. (Some Canon models are way too many pages...and I tend to avoid those) I notice that now you have to log in to access Canon models...you can do it with your facebook or Google account too. Sounds good to me.

Dave, that's a nice looking pop-up card. I'm sure that your mother will love it. This year I found a template for a DIY watercoler card and used tracing paper to transfer the outlines to really heavy card stock used for watercolores. I neglected to take a photo of it but the template looks like this. I would include the source, but I don't remember now where I found it. I'll blame chemo brain for now. Mine turned out to be acceptable in quaility, but not nearly as nice as this one. I picked it because I really liked the sentiment that perfectly captures my amazing 92 yo mom.
