Pre 1919 Paper models?
Do you guys have any pre-1919 paper models? This was from a Harry Houdini film... WeTransfer The first known toy robot, predating the word "robot" in its modern sense... Feel free to move the message if you like.

Wetransfer has always been friendly when receiving files from Johan or Volker, but it's been a while since I last used it. Dunno what nonsense was going on on this one, but it looked decidedly dodgy to me, so I too unplugged pretty quick.

Weird; I never have had any trouble like that. I belong to multiple groups that use it routinely. What is it asking for?

Actually it doesnt matter what its asking permission for...
these days, permissions can be disguised. It could say "permission for something" and you could be agreeing to download something you don't want, or changing something in your browser, or.... The first page asked me for cookie permission, which I agreed to, but then the second page asked permission for something else...so I quit. NEVER AGREE TO ANYTHING on a page you're not familiar with. I don't need a paper model that bad to risk malware.

Guys,
I just followed Maurice's instructions and got the file with no problem. The large rectangle on the left side of the page has: A large circle with an arrow inside. Underneath the circle was a statement READY WHEN YOU ARE. Under that, a statement "Transfer expires in 7 days. Under that, a filename "Houdinibot" Under that, a statement, "Folder 5 Items" Under that, a bar labeled DOWNLOAD. The only thing that I pushed on the page was the DOWNLOAD bar. I immediately received a zipfile downloaded to my computer. No surprises in the zipfile. When unzipped, it contained a cover page (picture) and the model parts pages. I hope you all have the same luck. John |

Meanwhile I went off and had a sleep whilst running two scans.
Niether found anything - not even a tracking cookie. No worries Pygar, no need for change, we now know how to find your files. Unfortunately some people find most things are "... like a lot of work" Thanks John, nice to know some people don't have me on their blocked list. |
