Kommunar tractor 1:50 model
New model from efrempapermodels (https://vk.com/club162584054) - a 1:50 model of the first tracked tractor built in the Soviet Union - the Kommunar.
The Kommunar was based on the German Hannomag WD-50 tractor with many modifications to suit Russian manufacture. They were built in Kharkov from 1924 until 1931 and about 3700 were built. Initially the Kommunar was very underpowered but later models had up to 50% more engine power. The Red Army used many hundreds as artillery tractors even though it had a low maximum speed. Because of Soviet policy to concentrate on tank manufacture during WW2 the Kommunars remained in service until the end of the war. Charlie |

After a detailed look at the model there's enough fine detail that it could be scaled up to 1:35 and perhaps up to 1:25. The tracks would need a rework but that wouldn't be an insurmountable task.
The Kommunars were used to tow most of the heavier Red Army guns like the 203mm B-4 Howitzer/152mm Br-2 Gun/280mm Br-5 Howitzer (that's the one on tracks) (Modelik have a model of the B-4) and the 152mm ML-20 gun/Howitzer (GPM have an ML-20 model and (I think) Angraf have a model of the similar 122mm A-19 Gun.
