I figured where the sides go after a quick look on part 1 and part 3, and you're right about the gray piece, it is indeed an roof.

Cheers,

Gregory

Part 4 has been posted, 2 blank rectangles, probably to reinforce other parts

So, has anyone figured out where the two white rectangles of OL4#6 go?

I have the parts cut out, but am reluctant to do the scoring and gluing until I have a clearer picture of where I am headed.

The larger rectangle could be for the base and the smaller one is for the roof

I have been printing the model out on Neenah Bright White 67# 0.19mm thick card.

Image 1. I have cut out the parts of the entryway with its columns. It was a matter of nibbling away and frequently replacing blades (or, for you hard chargers who use one blade for a lifetime, frequent sharpening). The upper structure on which the cupola (today’s download) fits is in the background.

Image 2. The completed entryway (four laminations) and the ground floor windows cut out. I used Caran d'Ache Neolocolor II water soluble wax crayons (7500.004 Steel Grey and 7500.032 light ochre) to color the edges of the laminations and a Tombow artist's pen N75 to color the edges of the window frames.

Images 3 and 4. I believe that, as daverocket suggested, the large rectangle from OL4#6 fits across the back of the building and the smaller triangle.

Tomorrow, I hope to cut out the rest of the windows and do a trial assembly of the cupola. If time permits, I will assemble the building – perhaps including some card reinforcements for strength.

I wonder if the base is meant to be laminated to thick card as it is, or if there will be some laminations to give it some dimensionality?

Don
