Build Your Own Staunton
I know this was mentioned in the post about the 2022 IPMC but I didn't see any links.
I understand the models were created by student in Staunton, VA. They're nice representations of buildings as well as some fairly simple city services vehicles. I've only been in Staunton once; I've buzzed through there many times. I'm not sure if the final goal is to recreate the entire town in paper, but it looks like a good start. The main page is on facebook, and there are links to download various models. It's worth a look. Many look to be good beginner models... pass them along to the noobs who look at your collection and go "wow" Build Your Own Staunton |

The students of the Stuart Hall School have been participating in the annual International Paper Modelers' Convention in Sterling, Virginia, for the past few years. They display their model of Staunton as well as other models. This year, they won the Special Award for Taking Modeling Into the Future. A couple of images of their table are here: Special Award for Taking Modeling Into the Future. A couple of images of their tables are here: https://www.papermodelers.com/forum/774532-post66.html
They also have a Facebook page where you can download some of the models for free: Build Your Own Staunton | Facebook Don |
